M., then and there to act on the following business: ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will'vote to amend the zoning by-laws of said town by changing the classification of the following property from a residence to a business district: Beginning at a point in the northerly side of Great 'Pond Road, one hundred (100) feet westerly from the westerly side of Cooke Street, as shown on said plan; thence running more or less northerly by lots sixty-:. two (62) and sixty-three (63) as shown on said plan two hundred ninety- four (294) feet more or less to lot fifty-nine (89), as shown on said plan; thence running more or less northwesterly by lots sixty (60) and sixty-one (61) and pa~t of lot fifty-nine (89), as shown on said plan, three hundred forty-five and one half (348 1/2) feet more or less to Osgood.Street; thence ru~ning along the easterly side of Osgood Street four hundred five and 19/lO0 (405.19) feet more or less to a point; thence turning~and running on an angle more or less southerly, forty- four and 82/100 (44.B2) feet more or less to an Essex County bound in the northerly side of Great POnd Road, as shown on said plan; thence running more or less easterly alon~ the northerly side of Great Pond Road, five hundred sixty-two (862) feet to the point begun at. To see if the Town will transfer from insurance receipts to the Highway Departmen~ accoun~ the sum of Six Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars and Sixty-five Cents ($6~B.65) received in settlement of damage to the Tractor. And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting true and attested copies thereof at the Town Hall and at five or more public places in each voting precinct. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate or provide by bond issue, treasurer's note or transfer from available funds or otherwise provide the sum of $200,000.00, for the purpose of providing fifty Quonset Huts or other housing units of a temporary nature for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of Section 4, Chapter 372,of the Acts of 1946;"An Act to provide Housing for Veterans of World War 2," and acts in amendment thereof. .1947 · ~ARRAN T / 1947 Article 5. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate or provide by bond issue, treasurer's note or transfer from available funds or otherwise provide the sum of $350,000.00, for the purpose of providing fifty permanent homes to carry out the provisions of Section 6, of Chapter 372, of the Acts of 1946,and acts in amendment thereof. Article ~. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of Chapter 572,of the acts o£ 19~6,snd acts in amendment thereof. ].93 Article 5. To see if the town will vote to authorize'the Board of Selectmen under the provisions of Chapter 372, of the Acts of 1946, to sell in fee, or lease for a term, any land that it now owns, that may be deemed suitable or that may be acquired under said Act and to execute,acknowledge and deliver deeds or instruments of title under the provisions of said act. Article 6. To see if the town will vote to authorize the Select- men (or Moderator) to appoint a committee to be known as the Veterans' Housing Co~ission to carry out any program that may be adopted under the provisions of Chapter 572, of the Acts of 1946, and in amendment thereof. And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting true and attested copies thereof at the Town Hall and at five or more public places in each voting precinct. Said copies to be posted not more'than fifteen days nor less than ten days before the time of holding said meeting.
