To either of the Constables of 'the Town of North Andover:
Greeting:

In' the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby
directed to notify andwarn the inhabitan~s of Ncrth Andover, who are qualified
to vote in Presidential Primaries, to meet in the Engine House in precinct one,
the M~rrimack School in precinct two, the Union School in. precinct three
and the Town Hall in precinct four
TUESDA~THE TWENTY-SEVENTH DAY OF APRIL, 1948. at 12 o'clock
noon for the following purposes:
To bring in their votes to the Primary Officers for the Election
of Candidates o£ Political Parties for the following offices:
7 Delegates at Large to the National Convention of the Republican
Party. 7 Alternate Delegates at Large to the National Convention
of the Republican Party. 16 Delegates at Large to the National
Convention of the Democratic Party. 16 Alternate Delegates at
Large to the National Convention of the Democratic Party.
2 District Delegates to the National Convention of the Republican
Party, 7th Congressional District.
2 Alternate District Delegates to the National Convention of the
Re.p~blican Party, 7th Congressional District.'
2 District Delegates To the National Convention of the Democratic
Party, 7th Congressional District.
2 Alternate District Delegates to the National Convention of the
Democratic Party, 7th. Congressional District.
District Members of State Committee (one man and one woman) for
each political party for the Fourth (Essex Senatorial District.)
Ten Members of the Republican Town Committee.
Ten Members of the Democratic Town Committee.
All to be voted for on one ballot.
The polls will be open from twelve O'clock noon until eight
o'clock P.M.
.And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting true and
copies thereof at the Town Hall, and a~ five or more public places in
each voting precinct. Said copies to be posted not more than fifteen~dg~s
nor less than ten days before the time hf holding said meeting.
'~ Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with yofir doings
'' thereon to the Town Clerk, at the time and place of said meeting.
