GREETING:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you .are hereby ·
warn the inhabitants of North Andover, qualified to vote in Town Affairs, to '
meet in the Town Hall in said North Andover on Monday evening,'the twenty-eighth
day of August, 1950 at eight o'clock P.M., then and there to act on the
following business:
ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will vote to tran'sfer from the 'Reserve Fund
Overlay Surplus the sum of $2500.00 to supplement the Veterans' Benefits
appropriation for the balance of the year.
Petition of Bernard Bingham, Veterans'-Agent.
ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote =o transfer from available funds
.the sum of $2000.00 to supplcmen~ the Moth Department appropriation for. the
balance of the year. Petition of John J. Connote, Moth Superintendent.
ARTICLE 5. · To see if the Town will vo=e to =ransfer from available funds the
sum of $7500.00 to supplement the Outside Relief and Repairs appropriation
for the balance of the year. Petition of the Board of Public Welfare.
ARTICLE ~. To see if the Town willvote to amend the Zoning By-Laws by changing
the classification of a piece of property owned by Alfred H. McKee from a
residential to a business district~
Said property is located on the westerly side of Church S tree~ and is bounded
.and described as follows: Beginning at an angle in the westerly line of Church
Street, said angle being approximately on the extension of the southerly line
Cross Street, thence southwesterly_by the westerly line. of ~hurch Otreet,-
.to a point, thence northwesterly 89.5 feet to apoint; thence north-
fly llh feet to a point, thence southeasterly 109.5 feet to the point

Board of t~gistrars Patrick Cronin, Fred NcCormack, and.John McDuffie,
assisted by Mrs. Lillian Dearden, Nra. Angelina Kelley, Miss Rita Enaire,
and Miss Helen Legate were checkers at the doors.
