GREETING:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby
· directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of North'Andover qualified to
vote in Town Affairs, to meet in the Town Hall directly following the ad-
Journment of the Adjourned' Annual Town Meeting on March l~, 1953, then and
there to act on the following business: ~
ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-Law by
changing from Agricpltural to Business, the following d~scribed parcel of
land:
A parcel of land on the easte~ly~side~ of Salem Turnpike and on ~he
northerly side of Berry Street, bounded and described as follows: Beginning
at the intersection of the easterlyline of the Salem Turnpike ~ith the
northerly line of Berry Street; thence northwesterly, by the easterly line
of the Salem Turnpike, 90 feet to a point; thence northeasterly. 250 feet to
point which is 2~0 feet from the northerly line of Berry Street,.thence
southeasterly 630 feet to a point; thence southwesterly 350 feet to a point
in the northerly line of Berry Street; thence northwesterly to thenortherl
line of Berry Street, 660 feet to the point of beginning. '

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby
directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of North Andover, qualified to
vote in Town Affairs, to meet in the Town Hall directly following the ad-
journment of the A~Journed Annual Town Meeting on March ~$, 1953, then and
there to act on the following business:
ARTICLE 1. To' see if the town will raise and appropriate or cause to be'trans-
ferred from available funds, the sum of $32,000.00 to be used for the pufpose
of pumchasing a new ladder truck and equipment therefore, including ladders
and lighting equipment, to replace the ladder truck and equipment dazaaged:~i$
the accident in which the ladder'truck was involved on March 2, 1953. Said
~chase to be' made by a committee composed of the Board of Selectmen, Boafd
Fire Engineers and tltvee other persons appointed thereto by the Advisory
Board or by ·such a committee as the Town Meeting may determ~ine.·
