ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town ~11 vote to raise and appropriate, or provide by
bond issue, or transfer from available funds, $600.00 to extend the water system
approximately 150 feet southerly on Glenwood Street.
Petition of Jessie Gucciardi and others.
ARTICLE 5. To see if the .Town will vote .to raise and appropriate or provide by
bond issue, or transfer from available funds, $800.00 to extend the water system
approximately 200 feet southerly on Bacon Avenue.
Petition of Yvoune Giard and others.
ARTICLE ~. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the general funds of
the Town or in any m,~er consistent with law permit the use of the sum of
$800.00 appropriated under Article 63, Subdivision 5, of the Annual Town Meeting
to be used to extend the water system on Wentworth Avenue 165 feet from Furber
Avenue. Petition of Fred Hilton add others.
ARTICLE 5- To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro~.riate, transfer
from available funds, or provide by bond issue the'sum of $1,000.00 to extend
the sewerage system on Wentworth Avanue approximately 165 feet from Furber
Avenue. Petition of Fred Hilton and others.
And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant~by postiug tx,Ae and attested
copies thereof, a~ the Town Office Building, and at five or more public p2aces
in each voting precinct. Said .copies to be posted not more than fifteen days
nor less than ten daysbefore the'time of holding said meeting.

to the Town Clerk, at the time and place Of said meeting.

At the Special Town Meeting held in the Veteran's Auditorium, North Andover'
High School on Wednesday evening June 29, 1955 at 8 P.M., the following was
voted:
ARTICLE 1. Stricken'from the'Warrant: Affirmative 68. Negative 117.
ARTICLE 2. V0'A'ED that the sum of $600.00 be taken from available funds in the
Town Treasury to ex~end the water system approx~m, tely 150 feet southerly on

Town Treasury to extend the water system approximately 200 feet southerly on
BaconAvenue, upon the following conditions: That on Or before September 1,
1955, the petitioners and/or owners make a guarantee, acceptable to the Board
of Public Works, of sixpercent of theactual cost of construction,.as water
rates, for a period of 1~ years~
ARTICLE ~. VOTED that the sum of $800.00 be taken from available funds

t955, the petitioners and/or owners make a guarantee, acceptable to the Board
of Public Works, of sixpercent of theactual cost of cons.truction, as water
rates, for a period of 14 years.
ARTICLE 5. VOTED that the sum of $1,000.00 be taken from available funds in
the Town Treasury to be exp ended by the Board of Public w~rks, to extend the
sewerage system on Wentworth Avenue approximately 165 feet from Fu~ber Avenue,
subject to the assessments or betterments charge under the conditions of '
Chapter 580 of the Acts of 1906, as amended and with the further ~ovision
construction of one house shall have been started on or before September 1, 1955.
