In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby
directed to notify and v~rn the inhabitants of North Andover qualified to vote
in Tov~ Affairs to meet in the Reception Room of the Fire, Station in said
North Andover on Monday evening, the twentieth day of May 1957 at seven-thirty
P.M. then and there to act on the following business:
ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will vote to r aisc s_nd appropriate, or provide
by bohd issue, or transfer from available funds, $1500.00 to extend the sewer
system on Harwood Street approximately 160 fect from Massachusetts Avenue.
Petztion of Anna Galvagna and others.
~.RTICLE 2. To see i~ the Town will raise and appropriate, or transfer f~om
available funds the sum of $2,~68.0~ for the pnrpose of refunding, as required
by the 'change in the me,hod of pa~aent that became effective Januar~ l, 1957,
to Alvah G. hayes, Mary M. Henncssey, Daniel J. McCarthy, Milton F. Howard,
Charles I. Vincent, and John V. Donovan certain sums'of money previously
with-held from their salaries. Petition of the School Committee..
And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by posting true and atteste,
copies thereof, at the Town Office Building and at five or more public places
in each voting precinct. Said copies to be posted not more than fifteen days
nor !es~ than ten days before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof, fail not, and make due return of this warrant with your doings on
to the Tow%7 Clerk, at the time and place of said meeting.
Given under our hands at North -lndover, Mass., the 20th day of May in the
year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven.
