SUMMARY This act increases the compensation each member cf the General Court shall receive for each regular annual session from fifty-two hundred ~ollars to sixty-seven hundred dollars and increases the additional compensation the President of the Senate and The Speaker of the Hous · of Representatives shall receive from fifty-two hundred dollars to sixty-seven hundred dollars. The ac=~ also increases the additional compensation the floor ~aders of'the major political parties in the ~enate and House of Representatives$ the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means and the Chairman and ice Chairman of the Rouse Cormnittee on Ways and Means shall receive from twenty-six hundred dollars to thirty-three hundred and fifty dollars, and provided that a member' of the General Court chosen to fill a vacancy, or~ who resigns his seat during a regular annua2 session shall receive a per diem compensation at the increas- ed rate of compensation for each regular annual session. 3.
