Draft Motion: Motion to amend the Town of North Andover Zoning Bylaw by deleting the existing language of Section 4.122.14 and replacing it with the amended language which requires a filing with the Zoning Board of Appeals, with design criteria, for the conversion of an existing one-family dwelling to a two-family dwelling. Reason(s) for Article: The amendment requires a filing with the Zoning Board of Appeals and imposes design criteria for the constructed dwellings. Recent conversions in the R-4 district have resulted in concerns oversize, aesthetics and conformity with surrounding properties. The amended language will allow the abutters to be notified and involved in the permitting process.
