The scope of work for the project located at 722 Great Pond Rd. North
Andover MA is replacing the existing 2nd floor deck with a smaller footprint
Trex deck. Existing deck is 6 x 20 and new deck will be 6 x 16. The
existing deck is severely rotted and home owner has active leaks that can not
be repaired without replacing the deck. The existing deck is cantilevered and
all joists are severely rotted with numerous penetrations. The new deck will
have 2 small helical piles we already have already called digsafe for with no
obstructions. The numerous penetrations will be removed and sealed over
with proper Ice & Water shield and proper flashings. Siding will be tied
back in with James Hardie. Decking components will be all Trex
substructure, decking and railings. This is a small project and small amount
of materials will be kept on driveway and as close to the work area as
possible. Ground is currently frozen and we will not be near any wetlands as
we will be working right up against the house. All debris will be disposed of
daily in the onsite dumpster.
