Proposal for:
707 Turnpike St.
North Andover, MA
We are a chimney sweep company, specializing in all forms of chimney repair.
We plan to locate our primary business operations at 707 Turnpike St.This was a
Realty Office.We would use the upstairs for our office needs and the lower level for
short-term storage of materials for our work. Most of this would arrive one day and
go out the next.
Our hours are 6:30 am-6:30 pm.All loading and prep for trucks occurs in the
afternoon.
We have 10 employees including me.Six field staff and the assistant General
Manager arrive at 6:30,in 6 personal vehicles. The six field staff members leave by
lam in 3 to S vans. Two office staff arrives at 8-9 am in two vehicles. Field staff days
usually end at 3 or so,returning in the vans and departing in their personal vehicles.
The office staff leaves S-6 pm,leaving only vans parked outside overnight. I arrive in
my personal vehicle most days,sometimes I arrive in my van but then depart for the
jobsite in it.
We request permission to place three additional parking spaces diagonally on the
lawn as shown in the drawings as parking spaces 1, 2,and 3.
We would place snow removed from the driveway as shown at the three snow
stockpiles.
Our plan would be to have the driveway be one-way, entering from the north and
exiting to the south.
We will use off site waste disposal, any small waste would be stored in the garage
until disposed.

The additional 3 diagonal parking spaces would put parking farther from the wetland than was previously proposed and
would help better delineate the parking.This plan also provides for snow storage away from the resource area as
requested. Do we know what material would be the base for the parking? If the parking area was made of a pervious
surface the commission may allow this as a Request for Determination of Applicability(RDA). If there was significant
grading or impervious surface involved it may need to be a Notice of Intent(NOI). I have a meeting with the commission
this Wednesday if you would like me to discuss it with them.
