We expect that over the course of the business day, 30 dogs will be brought to the facility.Most of them will be brought by their owners,though we will offer pick up and delivery service as well.These vehicles will enter the Northern Entrance(adjacent to the sports fields)and proceed past"building 82",turning left after the building and right at the first roadway(exhibit A).There will be parking for 10 cars at the building(Area 1), including a dedicated handicapped space (exhibit B)for drop off, and an additional 70 available spaces 100 yards from the facility for longer term parking such as employees (we expect no more than 6 at any time).Employees will turn left before building 82 and park in Area 2. Exiting the facility will be done using the same route.This will not impact traffic flow nor parking for the main building, 160Q Osgood Street. The property is abutted by the Osgood Landing North Roadway,then the MBTA tracks and then the Merrimack River to the North and West, currently unoccupied commercial spaces to the South and East.Thus,we do not believe there is a significant impact to abutters or traffic flow and request a Waiver of Site Plan Review. The leased property will include approximately 10,000 sf of interior space,which will be fitted up into spaces specified for dogs of appropriate sizes and maturity. On the outside of the property approximately 15,000 sf will be fenced in with a combination of the existing 56"high chain link fence with barbed wire on the top of the fence removed and two new fence pieces one approximately 12' long and one about 25' long to tie the existing fence together with the building. The existing fence(and the gate adjacent to the roadway)will be repaired as necessary to ensure the safety of all the dogs. Please let me know if there is anything else I can add to this. There will be four aspects to the business; Dog Training Center, Play Care, Dog Park and Concierge Service. Dog Training Center -The Dog Training will be done in partnership with the MSPCA at Nevins Farm and other local experienced dog trainers. • Agility Training • Obedience Training • Puppy Training Play Care -Play Care will be supervised outdoor and indoor play groups with like-sized and temperament dogs. Rest and time out areas will also be provided. • 2 hour session • 4 hour session • All day Membership only Dog Park -Daily, weekly, monthly passes will be sold for indoor and outdoor recreation areas for dogs and their owners. Concierge Service -Dog taxi service will be provided to transport dogs from home to Ruff`n Tumble Playeare or local groomers or Vets. Customers will be charged based on mileage and time. Before admission to Play Care or Dog Park, each dog will go through an evaluation process including municipal licensing and proof of up to date vaccinations. The evaluation process, however, will be ongoing as we will continually monitor each dog's fitness for group interaction. Each dog's paperwork will have to be resubmitted annually.
