DBA EKO, Trinity Furniture Inc. 111�r Contract#MC11-007 07/01/2015 through 06/30/2018 Page 1 of 425 Contract Notes MC11-007 Furniture General Notes on the Contract The MC11-007 Furniture Contract is a physically large contract with 129 Suppliers listed,and it is suggested that members use the www.mhec.net website Search function to find the items that you need quicker than reading all of the various individual contracts, You can access the Vendors Terms and Conditions along with contact information from the listing the search will provide.This contract has been expanded from the previous contract to include additional categories beyond but related to furniture that have been requested by the MHEC members as well as better category breakouts to find such things as: -Outdoor furniture and items like,outdoor dining,benches,trash receptacles etc. -Staging and dance floors,bleachers,etc,both temporary and permanent. -White&bulletin boards(not electronic),display and trophy cases etc. -Gym benches and lockers bathroom partitions,etc. -Preschool furniture and applicable storage items. -Library furniture and shelving, -Recognition items like chairs,stools etc. -Electronic storage items -Class room furniture and items. -ADA specific,Ergonomic items -Partitions and hanging furniture -Electronic classroom partitions and lecterns, -Ergonomic items and accessories for furniture. -Furniture parts and accessories. Many Manufactures have been given contract to provide national discount levels and have listed there category offering as Entire Brand,Category,or Website Some Manufactures will sell direct but others will sell only through Dealers.Some Manufactures will also sell both direct and with dealers.The contract details and contact information can be seen within the MHEC web search. Multiple discounts structures are used in this contract. Discounts maybe stated as Dock Delivery(Dock)or Delivery and Install (D&I)as well as Volume discounts for both. Depending on the Manufacturer,one or both Dock or D&I may be offered. Services such as installation,have been included in the contract for both public and private members.Where prevailing wages are needed you will need to provide the suppliers with those schedules for the location and dates the services are needed. All of the items listed in the contract must meet Federal,State,Local or Industry Standards for the area in which the items will be used with respects to Electrical ratings,Safety,Fire,Age appropriate,ADA compliance etc. You should be aware of the standards,check the requirements with the Supplier before you finalize the purchase.If you choose to waive these requirements,you may need to sign a waiver.
