Approved at December 2019 meeting.
Board Members Present (5): David Brown, David Boudreau, Ellen Mosier,Jonathan Albano, Kevin Willoe
(Chairman).
Town Officials: Joanna Collantine (Estate Director), Laurie Burzlaff(Assistant Town Manager), and Jean
Enright (N.A. Planning Director).
1. Previous meeting minutes (November,January, February, March and April)were approved
unanimously.
2. Revenue projections and the current bookings report were discussed in detail.
a. Board members found the reports as presented difficult to follow, so it was suggested that
the Director produce a summary chart for future Board meetings and that this include a
column for updated revenue projections. There was specific confusion regarding whether
deposits for 2020 events were included in FY19 bookings reports,which would narrow the
projected 2020 loss. It was suggested that the Director create an adjusted projections to get
an actual snapshot of the anticipated future revenue.
b. Current Bookings reports have columns labeled 1) estimated total revenue; 2) actual revenue
for events occurred; and 3)forecast for future revenue. It was noted that the total revenue
column does not include overage received and that this should be included and separately
noted going forward.
3. Discussion regarding how the Selectmen were making decisions with respect to the Operations of the
Estate without consulting this Advisory Board. The predicted losses probably look worse than they
really will be, due to not taking into account anticipated sales projections. The moratorium clearly
will hurt the ability to sell.
4. Discussion regarding upcoming Town Meetings.
