In reviewing their family situation and after discussions with builders, the Friel's are requesting to construct a small addition off of the existing garage footprint to allow internal handicap access to the main dwelling structure. The garage will remain a 2 car garage and a second floor will be added above the garage area. The addition (labeled Addition#2) on the plan has a footprint of 309 square feet. In order to mitigate the impact of the increased impervious area with this addition and the extension of the existing roofed side porch (I 10 s.f,) for handicap access means, a second drywell (drywell#2) is proposed to capture 435 square feet of the garage roofed area.
