Minutes for Meeting of May 18, 1983
Present: W. Vicens C. Schoene
J. Lindon L. Bruinooge

North Andover Boat Ram - Discussion
Chief Dolan and the Commission exchanged ideas and facts
regarding the ra,p. The Chief is having a meeting with abutters
next Wednesday morning, to get their input. At our next meeting
there will be two discussions on this topic. At 7 : 30 we will be
talking only on non-wetland issues, but at 8 : 00 we will open the
public hearing on the Wetlands Protection Act and ByLaw regarding
this area,
ABC..Bus (2.42-256) -- Discussion
.� Charlie Carroll , the manager of this area came before the
commission and explained the condition of this project. A site
visit will be made to specifically determine the issues that need
to be finished. The area is in need of work to bring it into
compliance.
Lot 3 —Mill Road -- Request for Determination
The Commission had not received a letter from a Professional
Registered Engineer stating that this lot was in compliance. A
letter to the applicant will be sent stating this and that the
site must be stabilized before Certification is issued. Ref:
Condition #20 in Order of Conditions.
Meadows Property
Lois Bruinooge saw designated to write a letter to Mr. Meadows to
bring us up-to-date on this project.
Chestnut Green - Discussion
A replacement area that had been on the plans did not take. The
commission requested that they go further back into the site and
re-do the placement area and expand it as well. J. Lindon will

Yellow Maize
J. Tuttle set a letter to the NACC asking to be informed what he
still needed to do. Paul Tariot was going to look into this. It
appears that the bond on this work might have expired.
AT & T
It was recommended that we consider hiring Nancy Sullivan for
part-time help with this. (The file has over 30 separate items
of work to be done! ) She was very familiar with the project and
had been over the entire site. Voted to approve PP part-time hire.
Crouch Machinery
It was being proposed that the back of the building not be built
as originally planned, but that it would be moved five feet
further away from the pond. Plans were formulated on the weir at
the end of the pond.
W. Vicens motioned that we accept the modified plan of 5/10/88 ;
and that the restoration proposed by the letter dated May 3rd
1988 satisfy's the Order of Conditions. C. Schoene seconded,
motion carries.
Lot 1 and 4 Shannon Lane
It was decided that they should resubmit a letter after the area
in question has been stabilized. All members were in agreement.
Hawkins Lane -- Salem Forest III - Wetland Replacement Area
W. Vicens motioned we not lift the Enforcement Order until we are
in receipt and approve a written notice regarding the
construction of the crossing. J. Lindon to write a letter. L.
Bruinooge seconded, motion carried.
Boston Brook - BSC Report
It has been the decision of all parties that the meeting
scheduled for May 25th be cancelled until further notice. It was
noted that the next public hearing should be the final one.
Next meeting start at 7: 15 for an executive session with Peter
Shaheen on Long Pastures.
Mail Order of Conditions to the Army Corps of Engineers on the
Water Treatment Plant.
Meeting adjourned at 9: 45pm.
