Dear Mr. Dionne;
Please be advised on March 7,2018 in the Board Meeting Room, 1000 Washington Street in Boston
Massachusetts,the Board of the State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters deliberated on and voted
to Grant a variance. The Board voted to allow the following: This is a 5 psi system. The petitioner
will be using the methane gas to supply a co-generator. The piping was installed by a licensed
pipefa-tter. Board member Mr. Joseph N'askiewiez addressed the Board and stated he has worked on
this in the past with Mr.Paul Kennedp that all piping underground and above was under
jurisdiction of 248 CMR. Everything above ground will be stainless steel. Below ground will be MD

This variance decision is,based on the presentation,information and documentation provided by the
applicant and is applicable to this end user and this site only. All other plumbing and gas fitting work if
applicable shall comply with the rules and regulations of 248 CMR 3.00 through 10.00 and all other
applicable statutes and codes
