Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC#251
Pursuant to section 4.4.2(B) of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,William
Hannum&Sara Goldsmith-Schwartz,applicants/homeowner, and Garden Imprint as their
representative, filed for a Small Project Permit for work proposed at 234 Brentwood Circle,North
Andover. Work involves creating;a landscaping planted area with an interior area of lawn within the
former footprint of an in-ground pool within 100-Foot Buffer:Zane to BW. Native plants to be
installed by band,with no heavy equipment. No ground disturbance or:work is proposed within the
25-Foot No Disturb Zone.
During;the May 27,2020 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission voted
unanimously to approve this as a Small Project Category"G".The project is approved only as it
relates to the Conservation Commission and any and (if applicable) all other approvals should be
obtained by the applicant/home owner.The applicant is responsible for determining property
boundaries. All-work shall conform to the following:

The following conditions arc hereby mandated:
CONDITIONS:
1, Prior to construction of the garden,after consultation with the Conservation Department,the
limit of the 25--Foot No Disturb Zone shall be marked off with not less than two (2) weather
resistant monuments (e.g. 2"x4"pressure treated posts,granite posts etc...,) evenly spaced,
bearing;plaques with the following language "Protected Wetland Resource Area—No
Disturbance". Said plaques can be purchased at Town Hall in the Conservation Department.
2. Said monument locations shall be inspected by the Conservation.Department prior to
construction.

3. Prior to the start of construction the applicant shall ensure that the site contractor has reviewed
the small project permit and is aware of the wetland resource area and the limits of the proposed
work.

COMPLETE APPLICAHON-The application meets the subnuttalrequirements: Therefore,the Conservation
Department has prepared a written list of conditions necessary to protect any adjacent wetlands for approval by
the Conservation Commission.
This condition list shall be filed with the North Andover Conservation Departm&t as NACC#
INCOMPLETE APPLICATION-The following sections of the Wetland Protection Bylaw&/or Regulations
have not been complied with and as a result this Department is rqecting this incomplete;Vplication w/in two
(2)business days from the date of receipt (Section 178A North Andover Wetland Protection Bylaw). You may
pick up this application and supporting plans at the Conservation Office and re-file with the required
supporting documents and information.
NOT SMALL PROJECT--The North Andover Conservation Commission has determined that the proposed
project as submitted does not meet the small project criteria and hereby denies the application. As such,a
Request for Determination of Applicability(RDA)or a Notice of Intent(NOI)must be filed.

To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of my clients: William Hannum and Sara Goldsmith-Schwartz of 234
Brentwood Circle in North Andover,to request permission to plant the following plants in
area on attached map which was formerly a swimming pool, and which has now been filled in
;for which we obtained a permit through your office which I believe is still open.
Since then we also took down some trees;for which we also went through permitting.
The planting is to be done by Garden Imprint, Inc., of Newburyport MA, using no heavy
equipment.The native, plants have been selected to provide habitat for wildlife for which I
consulted suggested plant lists provided by your office . Please find plaint list and a scale
drawing of the area as well as the planting plan attached.
