I can do so if the Town wishes, but if you do it here are some things to note: Attached are photos of the three main remaining open items: • The hole that was cut into the concrete was filled with rocks and other detritus. It did not at all appear like it was watertight. He was going to remove the junk he put in there and attempt to make the pipe penetration watertight and then test and examine it before calling you. You should make sure the water level is up at the outlet and that he has exposed around the outside of the pipe and that it is dry underneath • The pump shown is not the one on the plan. It should have been a blue pump made b Barnes. I am told he is going to switch it to the pump that was called for. That needs to be checked • The floats he had set almost on the floor of the pump tank. They need to be raised up and set to the setting indicated on the plan In addition, the D-box needs to be confirmed to be H-20, and risers to grade need to be over the effluent filter and pump I will get you a formal write-up but I wanted to highlight these issues so they would not get lost in the inspection report. There were a number of issues that were wrong or otherwise need tending to. Among them were: wrong pump, floats might not have been set correctly, d-box might have not been H-20, pipe exiting the septic tank might not be watertight, and possibly the wrong benchmark was used. In this instance I have tasked the designer to get back involved to examine things and report back as to their findings. The situation is still open and hopefully being resolved, but I did want you to at least know about it in case something comes your way. At the very least, I know they will be contacting you at some point to come make sure the septic tank outlet pipe penetration is watertight.
