Notably the outlet from the septic tank was leaking as was one of the outlets from the d-box. He is a good guy, but was not fully ready for the inspection. Paperwork will not be coming to you until next week but I wanted to give you a heads up that he will be fixing the tank outlet and d-box outlet and contacting you to perform a final inspection. I am sure you can handle it but if it something that fits into my work for Peter Breen at 997 Dale Street I'd be glad to check on it if you'd prefer. I gave him the ok to backfill the other parts of the system. Note they are requesting a local Upgrade Approval for a reduced setback from the foundation to the soil absorption system which we think makes sense in this instance. Any questions, do let me know. Indicate building sewer pipe joints are to be watertight(310 CMR 15.222) A note has been added in the system profile section on sheet S-2 indicating the requirement for building sewer pipe joints to be watertight. 3. Indicate building sewer is to be laid on a compact firm base and on a continuous grade in a straight line (310 CMR 15.222) A note has been added in the system profile section on sheet S-2 indicating the requirement for the building sewer to be laid on a compact firm base and on a continuous grade. 4. Indicate or depict tees inside tank to extend 6"above the flow line(310 CMR 15.227) A note has been added in addition to 6"arrowheads in the septic tank detail on sheet S-2 indicating that tees inside the septic tank must extend 6"above the flow line. 5. Indicate requirement for tank to be watertight(310 CMR 15.221) A note has been added to the septic tank detail on sheet S-2 indicating that the septic tank must be watertight. 6. Indicate piping exiting the distribution box are to be laid level for at least first 2'and to be at the same elevation as each other(310 CMR 15.232).
