Currently upstairs barn is not in use for events due to the
capacity limits. Birds continue to roost in the barn, and bird i
droppings are visible on the floor in upper barn area. Floor
under the cupola is particularly active with birds.mesh has
been installed inside cupola vents, however birds are still
entering and seem to be building nests. If the cupola itself
cannot be made to exclude birds, then installing a solid
base Under the cupola may reduce the guano that falls
down onto the barn floor. Perhaps plexiglass could be
installed under cupola to allow light and also reduce bird
presence. -

Routine inspection of Special Events taking place on grounds and in the barn. Currently events
with food include birthday parties and activities such as book reading or seed planting or crafts
where a wrapped donut is served. All tables, benches and hay wagons are sanitized regularly.
Birthday parties - pizza is made in the kitchen and served on paper plates. Tables are sanitized
before use.
Kids and participants can wash hands at portable hand sink or may use sanitizer before eating.
Birds continue to roost and leave bird droppings in barn. No bat guano observed. Birds can carry
disease, and so it is important to continue to clean all food service areas before every event,
provide hand sanitizer, and continue to exclude birds and other pests. To further reduce bird
presence please add additional bird proofing measures at the cupola where the most birds seem to
gather, such as a solid plexiglass floor to the cupola that would catch guano before it falls into the
barn.
