NORTH ANDOVER ZONING BYLAW may, 1.956 SECTION It PURPOSES For the purposes set forth in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter I[OA and all acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto and under the authority thereof and of General Laws Chapter 143 and any other en- abling laws, the inspection, materials, construction, alteration and repair, height, area, location and use of buildings and structures and the use of land through- out the `Sown of North Andover are hereby regulated as herein provided, and the Town Is hereby divided into districts as here- inafter designated, defined and described, and shown on an official copy of the zoning map, dated June, 1956, as amended, on file with the Town Clark, which map is hereby made a part of this Bylaw. Business Districts dwellings, business and other retail or commercial structures shall not exceed three stories or forty-five (1�5) feet in height. 8,4 In Industrial. AND DUTIES 9.1 There shall be a Board of Appeals of five members which shall have and exercise all the powers provided under G. L. The Building; Inspector, upon being Informed In writing of a possible violation of this Bylaw or on his own initiative, shall make or cause to be made an investigation of facts and an inspection of the premises where such violation may exist . The Building Inspector, on evidence of any violation, after investigation and inspection, shall give written notice of such violation to. 'the owner and to the occupant of such -premises, and the Building Inspector shall demand in such notice that such violation be abated within such reasonable ti.i-no as may be designated therein by the Building Inspector.
