Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC #285
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,
Catherine Burgess, filed for a Small Project permit application for work proposed at 47 A4illpond,
North Andover. J'he work involves removal of a pressure treated lumber retaining wall that abuts
the fence and replace it with a black retaining wall. The Patio would then be replaced in kind. Work
is within 50' of the bank of the pond and a fringe of BVW.
During the September 9,2021 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Co.mtnission
(NACC) found this project to qualify as a Small Project Permit and voted unanimously to approve
this project as proposed under Category "L" subject to compliance with the conditions listed below.
The project is approved only as it relates to the Conservation Commission and any and all other
approvals should be obtained by the applicant/homeowner.
**The applicant, homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property
is allowed under this permit. The NACC has jurisdiction over all of the wetlands, pond and
associated 100-hoot buffer zones on site and any work that involves ground disturbance or changing
the current conditions in these areas will require permitting with the NACC. This includes,but are
not limited to, house additions, pools, patios, decks, sheds, fences, garden beds,landscaping and
bridge installation, tree or vegetation cutting/pruning. These activities shall be held to the current
standards under the Bylaw and WPA.**

CONDITIONS:
1. Prior to work commencing, 12"mulch sock erosion controls shall be installed between the
work and the wedand— the mulch sock ,hall start at the rear corner of the house and wrap
around the work area.
2. A pre-consttuction rneeting shall be scheduled with the applicant, contractor and
Conservation Department to inspect erosion controls and review the conditions of this
permit.
3. If a stockpile location is needed it shall be situated outside the I 00-foot buffer zone.
4. A site visit with Conservation Department shall be scheduled once the project is complete to
verify compliance.
5. Thisvermit shall ex.pire one year from the date of issuance.
