SUBJECT: 1665 Great Pond Road.
As Part of DEP File#242-1595, the North Andover Conservation. Commission (NACC) issued an
Order of Conditions (July 26, 2013). for construction of a single family house and driveway adjacent to
1665 Great Pond Road. This filing confirmed a wetland line for Bordering Vegetated Wetland(BVW)
associated with Rea's Pond and Lake Cochichewick.
I have reviewed the plan submitted to the Planning Board (last revised February 24, 2016) and note
that BVW associated with. Lake Cochichewick was not confirmed in this location. The edge of water is
not a jurisdictional area confirmed by the NACC and it is likely that Bank and BVW associated with
the lake are higher (closer to Great Pond Road) than the "edge of water" shown. This delineation was
questioned by Lisa Eggleston in item#3 of her comment letter dated February 10, 2016. The
applicant's response to her comment is not correct.
In addition,°I have reviewed the delineation of BVW associated with Rea's Pond and believe the line
labeled "Non-Discharge Buffer Zone 325' from edge of wetlands/Rca's Pond)" is are approximate
distance as it does not accurately reflect the varied delineation of the BVW and is more of an arch
associated with the delineation.
