Used an existing grade shot near shed as benchmark and checked it against other undisturbed areas and it seemed relatively accurate. D. Ottenheimer SEPTIC TANK ® Building sewer in continuous grade, on compacted firm base ❑ Cleanouts per plan M Bottom of tank hole has 6" stone base ❑ Weep hole plugged ® 1500 gallon tank has been installed H-10 loading ® Monolithic tank construction ® Water tightness of tank has been achieved by visual testing ® Inlet tee installed, centered under access port ® Outlet tee installed, centered under access port (effluent filter) ® (2) 20" inch cover to within 6" of finish grade installed over one access port ® Boots at inlet & outlet Comments: 07.01.2021 S.Casey— 6" observed. 7/29/21 — Installed tank is two compartment configuration with an internal baffle and tee. Covers placed over inlet and outlet side. Pipe exiting tank is not at right angle, has boot, checked and it was a watertight connection.D. Casey size with over dig 34 x 22. 2 Loads of sand on site ok. SOIL ABSORPTION SYSTEM (Gravel-less Chambers) ® Brand and Model of Chamber: Cultec C4 ® Number of chambers per row: 3 ® Number of rows (trenches): 3 Comments: 7/29/21 —Visually observed settling at the chamber beds such that the center area was lower than ends. Confirmed through survey that was not level. Required installer to make level. D.Ottenheimer 8/6/21 — Checked four corners and two locations along middle of soil absorption system using survey equipment. Found them to be generally level, with the greatest area of discrepancy being 0.22' (2.6") between any two spots. This was a significant improvement over previous installation. Authorized backfill. The area of focus was the soil absorption system. I found the system was built much closer to level than the initial inspection and authorized backfill to occur.
