Regular Meeting
The Board of Appeals held their regular meeting on Monday evening, Fay 9, 1966
at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Building. The following members were present and voting:
Daniel T. O'Leary, Chairm~; John J. Shields, Arthur Drummond and Donald J. Scott,
the newly appointed member. Associate Member William Deyermond sat in place of
James Deyo who was ill and could not attend.
A letter was received from the Building inspector regarding the Merrimack ~aterials
burrow pit on Boxford Street. He said no bounds have as yet been set out. A letter
will be sent to Merrimack Materials to invite them to attend our next meeting tH
order to discuss the B~,tlding Inspector's report.
A letter will be sent to the Building Inspector for a report on the earth removal
of Gilbert Rea on Chestnut Street., in order for the Board to vote on whether or not
to renew the permit.
Chairman O'Leary read a letter from Town Counsel regarding decisions, as to how they
should be worded, etc.
Election ~f Officers:
There was no election of officers held, after discussion, upon motion of Mr. ~hields
they will wait until a fnll board is present. Mr. D~,m~ond seconded the motion and
the vote was unanimous.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
