We, the residents of Chestnut St., Marian Dr. , and Evergreen Dr. , in the interest of safety, are concerned about the temporary roadway now being used by trucks and other heavy equipment during the construction of Watts Regulator at the corner of Chestnut and Turnpike streets and about any permanent road from that property onto Chestnut St. The narrow width of Chestnut St. and its hill make its use for anything other than residential a dangerous situation for ourselves and the children of our neighborhood who walk Chestnut St.--to and- from school busses at Turnpike Ste Because Chestnut Ste dead ends at Evergreen Dr. , our only way in and out of our area is the Chestnut St./Turnpike Ste intersection. The aforementioned conditions coupled with the short length of Chestnut Ste .can do nothing except create -traffic tie-ups and accidents in that area. In addition, we are concerned that traffic in and out of Watts Regulator property will severely limit the accessibility of emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire trucks which may need to serve our area. 76 0"I Ll Ctt v-mac,d°`l r/ k 9Lk 0-7 7,31 ace i r. z 37o October 3, 1984 We, the residents of Chestnut St. , Marian Dr. , and Evergreen Dr. ,' in the interest of safety, are concerned about the temporary roadway now being used by trucks and other heavy equipment during the construction of Watts Regulator at the corner of Chestnut and Turnpike streets and about any permanent road from that property onto Chestnut St. The narrow width of Chestnut St. and its hill make its use for anything other than residential a dangerous situation for ourselves and the children of our neighborhood who walk Chestnut St.-to ,and from school busses at Turnpike St. Because Chestnut.
