I am not holding out great hope that things will be fixed (or even legible) if we make him go back and try fix things again. I think our best bet here is to try move this forward ourselves. I'd suggest issuing an approval letter(assuming you are ok with the LUA request they have to reduce the water table offset under the SAS by 1') and to fix the open items ourselves and then make sure to explain things to whoever takes out the permit to build this. It is not the standard or desired way to handle things but I am not sure how else to achieve success here. Can you please put a note in the file to instruct the installer that: 1. The detail on the bottom right corner of sheet 2 showing 18' between the trenches is not correct and that the dimensions shown on sheet 1 are the ones to be followed 2. I'll figure it out. Inspection went ok. These guys are a cast of characters. For you will be: • Documenting abandonment of the existing tank • Making sure there is a manhole to grade over effluent filter • Making sure there is a manhole to grade over the pump • Having them install the effluent filter which was on the approved plan (Zabel A-1800) or getting a letter from the engineer indicating the Polylok-brand effluent filter they used was acceptable. Mill River noted that the filter observed during the final inspection at 37 Scott Circle was not a Zabel A1800 filter but it was a Polylok-brand effluent filter instead.
