Subject:Stevens Operating Reserve draw
Good morning gentlemen,
So I have some good news for this Monday morning. Our Operating Director has signed off on my approval memo over
the weekend and I can authorize payments from the Operating Reserve for up to $100,000 for the elevator work.Just a
couple of things to keep in mind:
1-We can only fund up to$100k. If the cost climbs above this, we cannot allow for more draws from the operating
account.
2-Our finance department is only the in the office once per week(Thursdays)to issue checks.They have a cutoff time of
noon on Tuesdays to get checks cut for the week.Therefore, if I get a draw request after Tuesday at noon,the check

can't he cut that week and it will have to wait until the following week.They cut checks and mail them out every
Thursday.
3-Beginning with this year, we will be required to get any excess income that the accountant notes in the audit
deposited back in the account annually until the amount of both this draw and the previous draws are completely
replaced. I will work on getting a new letter agreement about this sent to you as soon as I can.
