I have a few things that I would like you to look into regarding the O'Mahoney Farm at 1,43 Lacy Street.
01 The property owners own an Mertr'ca bl.Mness. Although the addressofbusiness Is

systematically CLA down elve in that holuse location, built,a miniu r Irv-i, and moved
rocks all over the place including some being dangerously close to the street. I understand
people have a right to do what they wart with their property, but 1 would like to know if the
planning department was involved and/or building permits were issued? Did someone look at
the wetlands in the surrounding area? How about the erosion that is happening now due to
the exposed area that has gore untouched for two months Who is checking to see if thos
boulders are secure enough so they will not roll into the street over time? If permits were
issued, did anyone think to look at the property in person? Perhaps someone would have
also picked up on the business equipment and lack of agriculture/animals on a "farm".
This brings up another point-what policies does the town have in plane to rake sure that
property owners who get special variances i.e. tax breaks, are abiding by the conditions these
variances were granted in the first place? I would hope at the minimum the Town would
perform some sort of audit annually with a signed statement from the property owner stating
their compliance, and every other year an ire-person visit from a Town official. Certainly when
a property owner is corning to the Town for a building permit or something like that, shouldn't
the first action be to check with other Town departments to see if there are any conditions the
property owner is already supposed .to abide by'
Please look into these items and I look forward to your response.
