When I arrived, the bathroom ceiling was opened up and it was evident a leak was occurring from somewhere in the ceiling.The residents noted that the maintenance had been there last week to open up the ceiling and try to find the leak. At this time, it appeared the source of the leak was not identified and the leak is still ongoing, and the ceiling is still in disrepair. I am reaching out as I will be sending out a letter regarding the violations noted on the inspection. I also wanted to determine if a source of the leak has been found, and what the timeframe and next steps are from here. Please contact me as soon as possible regarding this matter. We had Maccormack plumbing scheduled for yesterday, they called last minute and stated due to staffing shortage they were not able to make it on Monday. they arrived to 49- 001 today around noon today 2/15/22 and completed the plumbing repair. I have R&M painting coming out to the apartment home to start the ceiling repair. This is part one of the repair due to the plaster needs to dry before he can paint it. he will return the apartment before Friday to ensure the plaster is dry and complete the repair/painting. I hope this information helps, please let me know if I can provide any additional details. I will be sure to address any notices you send timely and update you accordingly!.
