MEMORANDUM
APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL PERMIT FOR PET STORE,
CORNER OF ROUTE 114 (TURNPIKE STREET)
WAVERLY ROAD,
The applicant, Rice North Andover, LLC is seeking a special permit for a retail
pet store in a plan commercial development district which use is allowed by special
permit. The applicant received prior site plan approval from the North Andover planning
board, plans signed by the board on April 18, 2006. Said site plan approval allowed for
the construction of a Walgreens Drug Store and proposed retail use of 11, 053 SF, + -.
There are no changes proposed to the approved site plan, no changes to landscape,
lighting, parking, or utilities, The applicant is working with the planning department for
minor changes to the building, moving the front entrance door and rear door. Said
changes are shown on two plans attached to the application.
