The North Andover Planning ning Board held a public hearing on
Thursday evening , December 7 , 1907 in the Town Office Meeting
Room upon the application of they Town oE North Andover r Board
of Public Works . The hearing was, advertised in the North Andover
Citizen on November 19 and Cwl'davd"rJnher- 26 , 1987 and all abutters
were notified by regular mail . The following members were
present and voting : Paul Hedstronnn, Ch i.rmana ; Geer e� ernna ,
Vice-Chairman ; John mu.uuucrnn , Clerk; and J hm Burke ,
The petitioner seeks a Special Permit under Section B . 3
of the North Andover Zoning Bylaw which requires iris ite Plan Review
for a new development t which includes 5 or mdrn.-e parking spaces ,,

The premises is known as 42U Grunt Pond Road , located an the
North side of Great good broad. The lot is both situated in the

The ➢oa d also noted that the °T'dawnn ' s water treatment plant
was exempt from regulations of the Watershed District as stated.

1 . An, erosion and Redimentntion control program shall be
instituted during all phases of construction .
2 . In accordance with the Fire Departmunt ' s recommendations;
a . ConLact shall. be wihd(:� t-o thn Fire Department relative
to underground ntoraqe of fuels and flam able s;
b. Fire protection and deLection system shall be connected
to the municipal fire alarm system;
C Under Chapter 140 , Section 26G, the building
shall be fully sprinklered .
3 . The facility will be properly 5creened with laridscaping
material .

pursuant to Section 10 . 31 Conditions for Approyaj_qf_ Spvial Permits
of the Zoning Byla , the following :
a. The specific site , 420 Great Pond Road, is an appropriate
location for such a use ;
b. Ulie use as developed will not adversely affect the neighbor, hood;
c . There will be no, or serious hazard to vehicles or
pedestrains;
d . Adequate and appropriate facilities will be provided for the
proper operation of the proposed use ;
e. 'I'he use is in harmony with the general purpose arid intent Of
