352 Willow Street, Site Plan Review
Dear Heidi`
please accept thew minor additions which I have added to the plans. I will follow up with flu size
drawings by mail.
1. Driveway Excavation SWy. `iris sketch has been added for the Conservation Comrmi'sion. It
shows the existing underground utilities which dictate the locat Dn Qf the proposed water fine. It
should satisfy t#re owner and the Commission that the work can he done with the drivoway open and
without any adverse effect on adjacent wetlands.
2. Rip-Rap Slope Detail. C&C has questioned the size of thie gran& &wale that runs along the west side
of the proposed addition access effiveway (Supplemental Engin=rang Rvveiw June 11, 99 item .
The s ale grows from approximately 2 FT wide at the driveway comer to approximately 4 FT wide
at the. drop inlet catch basil, It is proposed to be 4 inches deep, We See no value iu performing
calculations to justify the size for the following reasons;
1- it drams only the paved surface sad is gently sloped.
. It is not proposed to satisfy storrnwater management rNuirenients. It was.introduced ino the
dedgnsolaly io prevent storm nnoff from routintly mssing the pwpuscd leading dock area
which can become a nuisance in certain seasons. Should an extmme 5tQTm ovent exceed its
capabilities any water not entering the drop inlet CD would simply land its way to CB 03 aver the
paved surface as would have hem the case without tho proposed&trttmwre,
