The review letter focused on the stormwater management report and Site Plan in compliance with the Massachusetts Storinwater Handbook. Responses below are to outstanding issues raised in the November 1, 2021 letter. Slandard 2: Stormwater management systems shall be designed so thatpost developmentpeak discharge rates do not exceed pre development peak discharge rates. The full site was evaluated for the predeveloprnent vs. postdevelopment scenario. Watershed maps were created and there are two distinct subwatersheds with two discharge points. The two sub-watershed areas are shown on both the attached Predevelopment and Postdevelopment drainage plans. The subcatchments are mapped, time of concentration shown, and land uses within each subcatchment shown. HydroCAD calculations were performed for the 2, 10,25, and 100 year storm event and the rainfall amounts used were based on the NRCC Atlas of Precipation Extremes for the Northeastern United States. The following are the results for each sub-watershed area. Standard 8: The erosion control detail has been added to the plan No dewatering is needed based on soil testhole;therefore no dewatering facilities is required A proposed soil stockpile area has been added to the plan No trees are to be removed as part of this project. In the vicinity of the proposed shed some tree limbs may be trimmed,but the trees will remain Erosion and Sediment control narrative: The owner has shown erosion control to be established in the work area and construction access points, A construction detail has been added to the plan to provide the contractor guidance for installation. A proposed soil stockpile area is shown,but most likely will not be needed since excavated soil for the pool and patio area will be trucked directly from the site. All disturbed areas shall be stabilized as quickly as possible with grass seed.
