To whom may it concern:
We are writing to you in connection with the Special Permit requirement#9 per the application to request
approval for a special permit to construct a family suite dwelling in our unfinished basement at our primary
residence of 290 Webster Woods Ln. North Andover, MA 01845. This family suite will be utilized, as
required per Item B4 195-4.2.Q(1), for Sheri's mother to occupy as her primary residence, with no other
individuals.
We are requesting this permit to allow for the individual to live an independent lifestyle while under our
supervision due to repeated health issues. The proposed dwelling is relatively modest in size, at
approximately 585 square feet. Basic accommodations are set forth in the attached plans to allow for this
lifestyle to be achieved.
As noted within our plans,we have no intention of any exterior changes to our residence.Accordingly, no
exterior expansion, disturbance of soil, or activity will be performed within 100'of any conservation land
as noted within the attached plot plans and layout of the home. Further, no change in parking or further
exterior features is required as well; primary residence accommodates a three-vehicle garage and current
occupants only have two vehicles. The proposed 585 square foot dwelling is significantly below the
square footage threshold as set forth in Item B4, as well as no change in the single-family dwelling or
appearance is to be made.
Accordingly, based on the above, we are requesting the approval for the special permit to allow
construction of a family suite. We appreciate your consideration and time.
