e are sir mitting the application far a special perrnit for construction of a farnily Su Re with the
basement of oar property Incated at 87 Coachmant Salle.
My parents were Dorn and raised in North Andover, as was €, Mark and I then+chase to establish our
fain Hy and raise our children in €forth Andover as we feel a strong sense of community here. For us, a
family suite means being able to come together as a family for the benefit of all_
As they age, my parents will have the support and care of their children acid grandchildren. Participating
in the grandchildren's lives is very important to therm, Also,they have the piece of mind that they are
ilot done ant#their home and property will be cared for and maintained,
Marks and I see the va€ue and importance of otrr chiltdren knowing and having strong relations h€ps with
their grandparents. They bring unique ant# loving perspectives to both Mark and l as parents, and to our
children.They help with pick up and drop offs,cooking meals and watching our kids.They also provide
advice and guidance when needed. We feel that having my parents live in a fami€y sulte would
strengthen the family values that are most important to us.
The current home provides sufficient space within it to build a proper 1,134 sttft family suite whith will
limit the impact on the property and neighbors.Once completed the holxre will look the same as it does
today suplaurting the loot[of the single family neighborhood. The facilities of the addition are adequate
and appropriate far it use as a fami€y suite. The use of the Fami€y Suit is iri harmony with the proposed
