The proposed hangar will be constructed in an area that is currently paved, adjacent to a hangar that was granted a special permit by the Planning Board in 2005. During a public hearing on August 14, 2009 the Zoning Board of Appeals granted a dimensional Variance from Section 7,paragraphs 7.2(Street Frontage),7.3 (yard Setback), &table 2, and Section 8,paragraph 8.1 (Off-street parking)of the Zoning Bylaw for dimensional relief in order to construct the hangar. The Board also granted a Special permit from Section 9, Paragraph 9.1 (Non-Conforming Uses) of the Zoning bylaw in order to extend a non-conforming use(airport) in the 1-2 zoning district.
