PROJECT AIRCRAFT HANGARS NORTH ANDOVER, MASSACHUSETTS RAY 18, 1996 Kingsberry Building Technologies Inc. is proposing to construct four(4) hangars at the Lawrence Municipal Airport. Three (3) of the buildings will be single story, 7000 S.F. in size, while one (1) of the buildings will be 4800 S.F. in size. The buildings will be constructed adjacent to the existing tie-down area of the Airport, in a portion of the site which is already paved, and in a grassed and wooded area adjacent to the existing tie-down area. Buildings will be constructed to comply with the Town of North Andover Zoning By-Law which requires a 50 foot front yard setback in the 1-2 Zone, in which the proposed buildings are located. Each of the hangars will be serviced with Town Water via individual service connections which will be connected to the buildings from the water main on Sutton Street. Each of the buildings will be serviced with Town Sewer, via a sanitary sewer main which will be constructed parallel to the line of buildings and connected to the sewer pipe on Sutton Street. A storm drainage system will collect the run-off from the buildings and the paved areas and will discharge into the storm drain currently existing on Sutton Street. There are no wetlands located within 100 feet of the proposed construction. Pine trees will be constructed between the buildings and Sutton Street to provide a visual buffer in the area of the site which is currently open. There is existing woods adjacent to the property line which will screen a portion of the development, and those trees are proposed to remain, except for those which must be removed to accommodate sewer, water, and drainage and building/pavement construction. The buildings and the paved areas will be constructed on land which will be leased from the Lawrence Municipal Airport Commission. There are no easements located on the site and the ownership of the land will remain with the Airport Commission. The buildings will be constructed entirely of steel, and will contain smoke and heat detectors which will be connected to the master fire alarm box adjacent to the proposed construction area. ,Separate parking areas for automobiles is not proposed with this project, since the automobiles C� will be parked inside each individual hangar, or will be parked in the terminal parking area by the ��c ) aircraft users. Telephone and electric service will be provided to each of the buildings and that design will be done by the individual utility companies, Site lighting will be located on the hangar buildings and will consist of wall-pac units which will be located on individual buildings.
