Drainage Analysis A drainage analysis has been performed to determine the impact that the development of the project will have on off-site peak runoff rates. The "HydroCAD" Stormwater Modeling System has been used to compare the pre- and post-development runoff rates and to design the stormwater detention facilities. The stormwater management system as designed will keep post-development peak runoff rates equal to or less than the pre-development peak rates for the 2, 10, and 100 year storm events. Under existing conditions, runoff from the site flows generally in a northeastward direction from Sutton Street towards the drainage ditch that lies along the edge of the developed airport facilities. The "PLAN OF EXISTING DRAINAGE CONDITIONS", included in the folder at the back of this report, shows the drainage characteristics of the site under pre-development conditions. Under proposed conditions,the site has been divided into 9 Drainage Areas to facilitate the design of the detention/treatment areas. The "PLAN OF PROPOSED DRAINAGE CONDITIONS", also included in the folder at the back of this report, shows the drainage characteristics of the site under post-development conditions. The construction of the two detention areas on the site will keep post-development peak runoff rates equal to or less than the pre-development peak rates.
