To this date,the violations cited in an Order to Correct dated August 25, 2022 remain unresolved at this time. In regards to the ceiling repairs, which I ordered you to correct on January 10, 2023, I am aware these were finally completed this weekend. In emails sent to both of you and phone conversations with both Dean and Eric of Four Points Property Management I specified that,per, the housing code,the tenant needed to be given proper notice for repairs and-that all debris, dust and construction materials used or created during repairs needed to be remediated. Despite all this, I received a call from the tenant yesterday that there was dust and debris from the repairs scattered throughout the unit. Upon a brief inspection yesterday to confirm this, I noted broken and damaged ceiling tiles, debris-from the ceiling on and behind furniture, and dust in the same areas as well as all over the walls and other furniture from construction. I've attached pictures to this email. By creating and leaving dust, construction debris and pieces of the old ceiling lying about, especially in a unit where young children reside, you have created a public health nuisance. In accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 111, Section 122, you are hereby ordered to abate the nuisance by no later than February 2nd,2023. Failure to address the issues you created will result in.fines of up to $1,000 per day,with each day constituting a new violation, being issued. Because your team has consistently shown the inability to clean up after the repairs your staff has made,you must hire a professional cleaning company to come out to the home by Friday, February 3,2023, to service the living room area. They must clean the area to remove all dust, debris, and construction materials left by your staff on top of and behind furniture,the walls, rugs and wherever else present.
