Lawrence Airport-Hangar Site Plan
Dear Ms. Bradley:
Regarding the subject please find enclosed herewith copies of a revised site plan depicting the
separation of the main hangar into two separate buildings, to accommodate the requirements of the
State Building Code and the Fire Department relating to fire protection of the buildings.
Although there are now three hangar buildings, the same number of aircraft slots are being provided,
and the same amount of parking, paving, drainage etc. is also being provided.
Given the above, please review the plans and advise me as to whether this revision is significant
enough to warrant a new hearing or if the Planning Board can issue an amendment to the Site Plan
,Special Permit to reflect this minor change.
I await to hear from you regarding the above.

Re: Lawrence Airport Hanger
Dear Mr. Stapinski,
Thank you for presenting your proposal to construct two
hangers at the airport to the Planning Board this week. As there
were only three members present, only an informal discussion
could take place.
During this informal discussion the issue of noise and late
night maintenance was brought up. The Board may limit the hours
of operation and condition that the hanger be used for storage
only and not maintenance. The Board will schedule a site visit
prior to the next meeting.
This discussion is continued to the Planning Board's August
31 meeting. If you have any further questions please feel, free to
give me a call. at 682-6483 ext. 24 .
