Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC #303
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,
Jessica Awerman filed for a Small Project permit application for work proposed at 56 Autran
Avenue, North Andover. 'The work involves: installation of a new sliding door off the rear of the
house and construction of new exterior landing and stairs to accommodate egress to the back yard.
The applicant hired DeRosa Environmental flag the bank associated with an intermittent stream to �
determine the closest point of the project to the resource; area. The landing (3x7) and steps (3x7) will.
total 42 square feet and will be located 53.1' from the bank resource area. Construction will occur
entirely within mowed lawn area.
During the March 8, 2023 public meeting, the North.Andover Conservation. Commission (NAC:C)
found this project to elualif, as a Small Project Permit and voted unanimously to approve this
project as proposed under Category "A" open slolled decks n ?loin mglf less than.300 s.f and less than 50
sf 00ound dislutb nce, subject to compliance with the conditions listed below. The project is
approved only as it relates to the Conservation Cotntnission and any and all other approvals should
be obtained by the applicant/hotneowner.
All work shall conform to the following:

The follovingconditions are hereby mandated:
CONDITIONS:
1. A pre-construction meeting with the Conservation Department, contractor and homeowner
shall be scheduled to review means and methods of proposed work review the conditions of
this permit.
2. Any excess soils from footing holes shall be taken off site or moved to an area outside of the

3. A site visit with Conservation Department shall be scheduled once the project is complete to
verify compliance.
4. This permit shall expire one year froin the date of issuance.
The applicant, homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property
is allowed under this permit. The NACC has jurisdiction over all of the wetlands (bank to
intermittent stream) and associated 1 00-Foot buffer zone on site and any work that involves ground
disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require permitting with the NACC.
This includes, but are not lit-nited to, house additions, pools, Patios, decks, sheds, fences,garden
beds,landscaping and bridge installation, tree or vegetation cutting/pruning.These activities shall be
held to the current standards under the Bylaw and Wetlands Protection Act.**
