RetBerry Street Site Plan Review Dear Erich; I have reviewed the plan and make the following comments. My main concern is the portion of Berry Street to the East of the proposed building is a private way, and is extremely narrow in width. Any future development on this portion of Berry Street would be severely hampered as far as access by this portion of the road. I would suggest that the Planning Board try to aquire a road widening easement at this time to insure that future develop- ment of this private way can be done in the proper manner. Drainage as shown on plan should provide adequate drainage. It is important that the street drainage from the entrance on Berry Street be incorporated into the site drainage system. A Driveway Entry Permit will be required. The width of the driveway entrance may be modified. I will be at your meeting Monday if you wish to discuss this further. Sincerely, r � � William A. (617) 686-3 12 Chief of Department To: No. Andover Planning Board From: Fire Chief Dolan Re: Site Plan Review - Berry St Date: May 23, 1986 I have reviewed the plan submitted for this building, dated May 9 , 1986, and I have the following comments : 1 . The building will require a full sprinkler system as required under Chapter 148 Sec. 26G. Sprinkler plans must be submitted for approval to the Fire Chief. 2. An additional fire hydrant will be needed on the eastern end of the building. 3 . An internal fire detection system will be required but this plan does not show the internal design of the building. The developer should contact the Fire Chief with plans showing theinternal design. 4 . No open burning shall be permitted on the lot except as permitted by the Fire Department. 5 . Any changes in plans, which would affect Fire Department access, must be approved by the Fire Department; as such changes affect the public safety of building occupants.
