HomeMy WebLinkAbout465 Stevens Street - NACC #306 Small Project - Permits #NACC #306 - 465 STEVENS STREET 5/24/2023 0 CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT Community & Economic Development Division Kyle Matthew Construction 240 Littleton County Road, Harvard,MA 01451 May 26,2023 465 Stevens Street,North Andover In-Kind Replacement of Existing Deck Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC #306 Pursuant to section 4.4.2 of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations, Kyle Matthew Construction filed for a Small Project permit application for work proposed at 465 Stevens Street, North Andover.The work involves: the demolition and in-kind replacement of an existing rear deck,stairs,landing, railings and 3 footings, together totaling approx. 1.58 sq. feet. Three holes for footings will be excavated by shovel. After the footing inspection passes, Sono tubing will be placed before they are poured. Their base will be 24" and their top diameter will be 12". Any excess fill or soil at the end of the project will be spread below the deck structure. The resource area is a SVW associated with an intermittent stream, and the deck is 51 feet away from the border of this wetland resource area. All work materials will be delivered in the driveway and moved to the project area as needed by hand or wheelbarrow. The dumpster will also be located in the driveway for the duration of the project. During the May 24,2023 public meeting,the North Andover Conservation Conunission NACC)found this project to qu4lify as_a Small.Project Pern-itt and voted unanimously to approve this project t as proposed under Category "B"In-Kind replacement of laao dli/e istiitg decks regardless of size, subject to compliance with the conditions listed below.The project is approved only as it relates to the Conservation Con-anission and any and all other approvals should be obtained by the applicant/homeowner. All work shall conform to the following: RECORD DOCUMENTS: Small Project Filing Including: ® Application Checklist with supporting narrative and attachments,received 05-16-23 4 Annotated Aerial Map • Permit Plan Set prepared by KMC dated April 27,2023 The following conditions are hereby mandated: CONDITIONS: 1. Erosion controls (staked straw wattle will be sufficient) shall be installed between the work area and the existing fence. A pre-construction meeting scheduled with the Conservation Department and contractor to inspect erosion controls and review project and these conditions. 465 Stevens Street---Small Project Permit Approval Category B Pale t of 2 2. All resulting soil shall be spread under the deck that is located between the house and garage when construction is complete. 3. A past-construction field inspection by a member of the Conservation Deparhnent to verify compliance is required. 4. This.hermit shall expire one year from the date of issuance. **The applicant,homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property is allowed under this pernvt. The NACC has Jurisdiction over all of the wetlands and associated I00-F oot buffer zones and any work that involves ground disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require vern-dtting with the NACC.This includes but are not limited to house additions oolspatios, decks sheds fencesgarden beds landsca in. and brie installatin, tree or ve 7-etatiolz cttttin runin .
