I. Demolition inspection of 20 Brown Court
A. Members discussed the May 30, 2023 site inspection
B. Limpert made a motion seconded Williams to allow demolition of 20 Brown Court. Approved 7—0.
II.The Kittredge monument
A. Ron explained that a woman named Meg Coulter had written to the commission requesting
approval for herto have her mother's name added to the Kittredge memorial in the old center.
B. In her letter Ms. Coulter explained that her mother was a descendant of the Massachusetts
Kittredge family and that she had been a physician.
C. Commission members discussed the request.
D.Jim Wefers agreed to do some research into the original monument bequest to determine if there
were any criteria for future additions.
E. Dowd made a motion seconded by Limpert to table the subject for future consideration. Approved
7-0.
III.The Old Burial Ground - remaining CPA funds
A. Commission members met at the OBJ on May 9, 2023.
B. Discussed using CPA funds to repair the Dolly Holt Farnum gravestone.
C. Other ideas were discussed by the members.
D. Limpert made a motion seconded by Szyska to use previously allocated CPA funds to restore the
Dolly Farnum stone. Approved 7—0.
V. Acceptance of minutes of past meetings of the NAHC
A. A correction was made to the May 2, 2023. Limpert made a motion seconded by Williams to accept
the minutes as modified. Approved 7—0.
B, Limpert made a motion seconded by Dowd to accept the minutes from May 9, 2023 and May 30,
2023. Approved 7—0.
New business
I.Jan Williams informed the commission that this would be her last meeting as she was resigning as a
member of the commission.
Ii. Historic plaques for public buildings and private residences in North Andover discussed. It was agreed
that after more information is gathered the commission will return to the topic.
