The work involves: replacing an existing;wood rail. with a new aluminum rail and associated vertical balusters,installing 96 joist hangers, and replacing the existing wood planking on the top of the deck with new wood planking.The existing deck, and proposed work,is approximately 66 feet (at its closest point) frond the intermittent stream that flows through the property. No ground disturbance is currently anticipated for this project. Ho-,vever,if ground disturbance is deemed necessary for whatever reason, the conditions listed in this approval letter will be fully adhered to. The project is approved only as it relates to the Conservation Cotntmission and any and all other approvals should be obtained lay the applicant/hoteowner. All work shall confortn to the following: RECORD DOCUMENTS: Small Project Filing Including: -Application checklist with supporting narrative and attachments, received 07-19-2023 -Annotated aerial map shoving distance from resource area -Existing deck repair plan details The following,conditions are hereby mandated if ground disturbance_is deemed neccssat CONDITIONS: 1. Should ground disturbance/soil excavation be deemed necessary during the project, the applicant shall cease and desist all work immediately, and notify the North Andover Conservation Department. 320 Stevens Street--Small.Project Permit Approval Categoq B Page 1 of 2 2. Schedule a site visit with the Conservation Department to inspect the proposed work involving ground disturbance. 3. If deemed necessary by Conservation Department staff, the applicant shall install 8" straw wattle erosion control tubes between the limit of work and the wetland resource area. 4. Post-construction inspection shall he scheduled with the Conservation Department to verify compliance. 5. This permit shall expire one year from the date of issuance.
