Aznoian called the meeting to order. Seconded by T. True. Agenda # 1 57 High Street East Mill Animal Hospital Present Applicant- Michele Smith Applicant presented letter of authorization from RSG, the landlord, to proceed with the proposed signage and installation by Dawn's Sign Tech. M. Smith explained the four proposed signs including two 19" x 30" hanging acrylic signs with logo and two 40"x60" walls sigs with same logo. H. Aznoian asked the priority of signage as the four proposed signs may be problematic with the zoning or building department. The applicant showed a printout of the brackets proposed for the hanging signs. The printout showed a square post as opposed to the round post currently used for other approved signage. Commission advised the applicant to ensure the round bracket is used. Material of the sign was discussed and will be consistent with the other signs on High Street. Discussion of the wall signs ensued. The idea of lettering similar to the current address lettering, on either end of the building, under the lights, was proposed as an alternative to the wall signs. Discussion turned back to the bracket signs and how they are 6" longer than prior approved signs on High Street. It was determined that the dimensions of the logo dictated the dimensions of the sign and this is acceptable. Discussion progressed back to the wall signs. Applicant is agreeable to the lettering idea but will need a continuance for the design. 7:25pm - T. True motions to approve hanging bracket signs on front and rear of building, as proposed, while using the same round brackets previously approved on other High Street applications. Seconded by B.
