Zelitch motions to open meeting, seconded by H. Aznoian. H. Aznoian motions to move agenda item #3 forward with consent from all applicants. Seconded by B. Zelitch. B. Zelitch motions to open agenda for: Byan Kenny 9 Pleasant Street North Andover, MA 01845 Represented by: Kavin Shah of ACE Solar K. Shah presented a single change to the prior approved application, moving the main roof panels to 2' 6" from the fascia edge of the roof to prevent snow accumulation on and below the panels. 6:23pm - J. Lafond motions to approve the change presented in drawing dated 6/6/2023, seconded by B. Zelitch. All members vote in favor. 6:24pm - B. Zelitch motions to approve 5/15/2023 meeting minutes, seconded by H. Aznoian. All members vote in favor. 6:29pm - B. Zelitch motions to open agenda for: 20 Brown Court North Andover, MA 01845 Represented by Joseph Levis and attorney Mark Johnson H. Aznoian opens meeting, prior to arrival of J. Levis by speaking about the purpose of the board and what other projects have been completed in the district. J. Levis arrives and presents the application. Plans are to build a duplex on behalf of Bread and Roses land trust. J. Levis speaks about the intention of Bread and Roses to make the building energy efficient and affordable. The design has been implemented at other locations and has been used for 20 years. B. Zelitch reinforces the purpose of the board by describing the design guidelines and the need for the structure to confirm and/or compliment the historic elements of the district. Materials were discussed including the use of Cedar Impression on the front of the dwelling and beadboard around the porch skirt. Board members expressed concern for the modern design of the building. J. Levis provided addresses of the same design including 332-334-336 Washington St. Haverhill and 19-21 Gilbert Ave. Haverhill. 7:00pm - J. Levis requested a continuance in writing to allow the board to view other properties and potentially arrange an on-site meeting subject to open meeting law. The meeting was requested to continue on 7/26/2023. 7:05pm - H. Aznoian motions to adjourn meeting, seconded by B. Zelitch. Meeting adjourned.
