The following is the DJK Associates, Inc. response to VHB Peer Review comments received on
September 4, 2001 relative to the Traffic Impact and Access Study prepared for the proposed
Boston Hill Condominium development project. VHB's comment memorandum is reproduced
in the appendix of this Traffic Impact & Access Study (TIAS).

Saturday Traffic — The report should n0e Saturday traffic; estimates, both daily and peak hour.
The, report focuses exclusively on the t aditional vreekt€ay conditions. While it appears from a
first glance that Saturday traffic volumes along Route 114 would be less than during the typical
weekday, without any data to support tl-tis assumption, it is difficult to definitively make this
statement.

Typically, Saturday peak hour traffic analyses are riot required for residential developments of
this sort. Nevertheless, Route 114 carried '14,256 vehicle-trips per day (vpd) or1 Saturday,
February 2, 1999 with a peak hour count of 1,292 vehicles per hour (vph) observed between
2:30 and 3:30 PM. Weekday volumes were reported as 20,554 vpd with 1,934 vph observed
during the morning peak hour and 1,715 vph observed during the evening peak hour. Although
