The work involves: the installation of a very large second story picture window on the lake side of'the house, which will replace existing windows in that location. Two new 16" diameter bigfoot footings will be installed, by hand, to provide the necessary load bearing support for the new window. The only ground disturbance for this project will include advancing the footings within the existing patio area, and underneath the elevated deck. The window will beinstalled via crane operated from the paved driveway. The closest. footing will be approximately 96 feet from the intermittent stream bank to the West, and approximately 86 feet from the bordering vegetated wetland associated with Lake Cochieliewick. to the South. During the August 23, 2023 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC) found this project to qualify as a Small Project Permit and voted unanimously to approve this project as proposed under C;`ategoiy "L" (alter similarlwgjects of ininiinal iny)act, as determined by,the North At drier Conservation Co nrnaission, subject to compliance with the conditions listed below. The project is approved only as it relates to the Conservation Commission and any and all other approvals should be obtained by the applicant/homeowner. Phelan dated May 16, 2023 T lie following conditions are hereby mandated: CONDITIONS: I. If any changes are made to the project or to the means and methods ol-accornplishing the work, the contractor shall alert the Conservation Department prior to implementation in the field to review and discuss same. The Conservation Department shall have the discretion to consult with the Chair or the Commission on any changes that may require additional review. 2. Post-construction inspection shall be scheduled with the Conservation Department to verify compliance. 3. This permit shall expire one year from the date of issuance. The applicant, homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property is allowed under this permit. The NACC has jurisdiction over all of the wetlands and associated 100-Foot buffer zones on site and any work that involves ground disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require permitting with the NACC. This includes, but are not limited to, house additions, cools,..,p,patios,,decks, sheds fences garden beds, ..................... landscapi ng runing.
